Come and experience the adventure of Morgan Le Noir, a pirate from the early 18th century!
Based in Nice, our company Aventures sur la Côte offers private treasure hunts to discover the city of Nice and its history with a pirate theme — seven days a week, all year round, in the morning or afternoon, for your birthday, a loved one’s celebration, or simply to enjoy a great moment with friends.
You choose your starting time.
Starting point: in the heart of the city, Place Masséna, at the foot of the Apollo Fountain.
After a short briefing, a mysterious character gives each team a booklet about the History of Nice, the origin of the treasure — that of a certain Morgan Le Noir, a Niçois pirate from the early 18th century — along with clues to help you find it.
Participants are now fully ready!
As they read, they will discover the history of our beautiful city of Nice through different stages that lead them from one spot to another. Players must follow a route on foot, search for landmarks, find meeting points with our costumed assistants, and solve various riddles.
If you enjoy discovering or rediscovering the history of the beautiful city of Nice, its stunning buildings, and its unusual places, these treasure hunts are made for you!
They are a pleasant walk designed as a game — similar to a mountain hike, except this time it takes place in an urban environment.
There is no age limit to take part.
These treasure hunts can be organized for a minimum of 4 participants and up to 50 or more.
We can personalize your treasure hunt.
During the hunt, players will meet one or several female buccaneers (depending on group size).
They will invite the teams to answer a quiz (Geography, History, or General Knowledge).
After this challenge, participants will receive a scroll allowing them to continue their epic journey.
From stage to stage, question to question, surprise to surprise, and clue to clue, the teams must reach the entrance to the treasure.
You will enjoy the charm of what used to be called the “New Town,” built in the 19th century and during the Belle Époque to meet the expectations of newcomers and tourists from all over the world.
The route will take you from viewpoint to viewpoint, from picturesque squares to shadowy medieval alleys where the buildings seem to touch the azure sky, from extraordinary spots to places unknown even to some locals.
However, rest assured: the game is physically accessible to everyone. As for the riddles, since the hunt is done in teams, one member will bring knowledge in one field, another in a different subject, some will offer instinct, insight, sagacity, others shrewdness or flair. No participant and no team is ever left behind — that is the strength of teamwork.

A travers la vie trépidante de Morgan le Noir, vous découvrirez les joyaux étonnants de la ville baroque et des personnages célèbres, natifs de Nice ou qui y séjournèrent longtemps. Artistes, écrivains, philosophes, explorateurs… surgiront dans l’ombre du pirate…
Vous goûterez les charmes de ce qui fut appelé la « Nouvelle Ville », édifiée au XIXème siècle et durant la Belle Epoque pour satisfaire les besoins des nouveaux arrivants et des touristes venant du monde entier.
L’itinéraire vous conduira de points de vue en points de vue, de placettes pittoresques en ruelles obscures qui fleurent le Moyen-âge et où les immeubles semblent se rejoindre dans le ciel d’Azur, d’endroits extraordinaires en endroits inconnus même de certains Niçois.
On racontait dans les tavernes enfumées du port de Nissa que ce pirate avait amassé, de ses rapines, un fabuleux trésor.
Votre but étant de retrouver celui-ci dissimulé quelque part dans Nice.
Nous organisons des chasses aux trésors adultes pour 4 participants minimum.
Photos and digital videos taken spontaneously during the experience will be offered to participants free of charge.
The treasure hunts we offer are above all fun, enriching activities that will allow you to reconnect with the history and unique heritage of the city — all in a joyful atmosphere.
Game duration: around 2h30 to 3h.
Price: depends on the number of participants.
